I had a major hard drive failure, which caused my Jaz drive to erase and I lost over 500 documents and spreadsheets on my Zip drive. I have attempted to load my Office 2000 in Windows XP (no trouble before) and now I am plagued with error 1919. It seems I am missing two registry files. You cannot load MDAC 2.8 SP1 without installing SP 2 again. I have done that and I still have Word attempting to load when I open Musicmatch, Itunes, and several other programs. When you get on the Microsoft site it tells you how to get the two missing files, but if you make a mistake you will have to do a complete format and reload all software that came with the machine. DOES ANYONE HAVE ANY WAY TO GET THE TWO FILES SO I CAN GET RID OF THIS PROBLEM EVIDENTLY, IF YOU REMOVE A COPY OF COREL WORDPERFECT (I DID) THEN YOU HAVE THIS PROBLEM. I DOWNLOADED THE TRIAL COREL PRODUCT AND STILL CANNOT FIX THIS. PLEASE, COULD ONE OF YOU BRAINY COMPUTER PEOPLE HELP ME WITH THIS. I AM SICK OF THIS PROBLEM.
