Get The Top Registry Fix For Fixing Registry Errors on Windows XP

January 25th, 2011 Jesse No comments

XP is tricky to fix with a registry cleaner, because most registry tools are now too advanced to work on it. A lot of the available cleaners will actually damage XP more than they will fix it – causing your computer a lot of problems when you next want to use it. In order to get the best registry tool for this system, you need a cleaner that’s fully compatible with XP, is able to fix the most errors this system has, and is reliable as well.

Although Windows XP is almost 10 years old, millions of people still use this system to help run their PC. However, XP has an “Achilles Heel” in the form of the “registry” which is constantly causing a variety of problems for XP users. In order to fix the various issues that this part of your system produces, it’s vital that you’re able to use a ‘registry cleaner’ that’s able to repair the largest number of errors in the most effective way. The only problem is that there are so many registry cleaners available for XP that you need to be sure you are using the tool that’s going to work the best.

Despite there being so many registry cleaners available, they’ve all been designed to perform a similar job for the Windows system – which is to scan through your computer and repair all the damage that Windows has inside. More specifically, these tools all scan through the “registry” of Windows, which is a large database that the system uses to store vital settings & information about your PC. The registry is like a library for all Windows systems, keeping settings for your system & software inside. Unfortunately, this part of Windows is also one of the biggest causes of errors for your system, as it’s continually being saved in the wrong way, making many of the files it has corrupt and unreadable. This makes Windows take longer to read the files it needs, slowing it down and causing errors.

Because XP is so old (in computer terms), you need to be sure that you have a registry cleaner that’s going to fix the most errors on this system in the most reliable way. There are a lot of tools out there which are only designed for the latest versions of Windows, making it an essential feature to have your cleaner compatible with XP. We’ve discovered that the cleaners that do this well are typically the ones which are developed by leading software companies, who have the man-power to continually improve their systems & make them compatible with all versions of Windows. One such cleaner is a tool called Frontline Reg Cleaner, which we have found to be the best.

From our experience, the best XP registry fix is a tool called Registry Repair.

Before we begin, let me say a few words about how windows works so you’ll understand why these problems happen from the first place. Much of the time runtime errors occur because your registry system is corrupted or damaged – this is the place where windows tracks what happens on your pc, so each time you perform a software or hardware installation, uninstallation, or update, it is being registered by your windows.

All sorts of information is included in the registration process; included are all the paths and links that are required to give windows instructions that tell it where the files that manage your assorted software/hardware applications are situated. It can sometimes happen that an incorrect software installation or removal may result in links in your registry system that no longer function, put simply, your windows application can’t run all or part of that program, the outcome of which can sometimes be a runtime error on Windows XP and a variety of additional hassles like boot up errors, lock ups, slow downs, and more. These kind of problems can be easily fixed if you are a professional and you have the skills to work on your registry, for most non-professionals, it’s not wise to try to do this alone – you can make a bad situation even worse!

These software solutions specialize in scanning your pc for various errors and finishing the job by fixing them in just matter of minutes. Because many of these applications give no-charge pc scans as well as fixes, it’s advisable to download one of these utilities and let it get to work and solve these problems for you.

How to fix error 1919 (MDAC 2.8 SP1) so I can load office 2000 on Windows XP. I never had this happen before.

May 10th, 2010 Jesse 1 comment

I had a major hard drive failure, which caused my Jaz drive to erase and I lost over 500 documents and spreadsheets on my Zip drive. I have attempted to load my Office 2000 in Windows XP (no trouble before) and now I am plagued with error 1919. It seems I am missing two registry files. You cannot load MDAC 2.8 SP1 without installing SP 2 again. I have done that and I still have Word attempting to load when I open Musicmatch, Itunes, and several other programs. When you get on the Microsoft site it tells you how to get the two missing files, but if you make a mistake you will have to do a complete format and reload all software that came with the machine. DOES ANYONE HAVE ANY WAY TO GET THE TWO FILES SO I CAN GET RID OF THIS PROBLEM EVIDENTLY, IF YOU REMOVE A COPY OF COREL WORDPERFECT (I DID) THEN YOU HAVE THIS PROBLEM. I DOWNLOADED THE TRIAL COREL PRODUCT AND STILL CANNOT FIX THIS. PLEASE, COULD ONE OF YOU BRAINY COMPUTER PEOPLE HELP ME WITH THIS. I AM SICK OF THIS PROBLEM.
